Part of Interstate 41 northbound was closed May 6 for emergency repairs, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation said. Traffic was detoured through the city to re-enter at State 47/Richmond Street. Roads reopened at 7:17 p.m.
All northbound lanes of I-41 closed at State 96/Wisconsin Avenue in Grand Chute for emergency pavement repairs, the state DOT said in an alert. The area closed at 10 a.m. The closure was extended through the evening rush hour to finish the repairs.
