Autopsies planned after two found dead in Manitowoc County home

MANITOWOC – Two people have been found dead in their home, according to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies conducted a wellness check at a residence in northern Manitowoc County around 10 a.m. Feb. 3. When they arrived, they found a man and a woman dead inside the residence.

The Sheriff’s Office is withholding the names of the two people until their next of kin can be notified and an investigation conducted.

The Sheriff’s Office is working with the Manitowoc County Coroner’s Office on the investigation and autopsies are scheduled for later in the week.

According to the news release from the Sheriff’s Office, there is no evidence of any danger to the community or the public.
