DODGE COUNTY – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man in connection to the spring 2025 disappearance of Alexis Nelson.
After an extensive investigation, authorities May 15 charged Aaron Nelson, 43, with first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse.
Alexis Nelson had been missing about a year and was last seen in Beaver Dam.
Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt said in a news release May 18 that the sheriff’s office will release no further details out of respect for the family, judicial process and continued integrity of the investigation.
