April 7 Manitowoc County spring election results live updates

MANITOWOC COUNTY – Polls in Manitowoc County for the spring election closed at 8 p.m. and ballot counts are rolling in.

As of 10:35 p.m. April 7, 49 voting districts out of 54 in Manitowoc County had reported their results.

The top race in the county is for Manitowoc County executive, a race led by current county board Chairman Tyler Martell, who is uncontested on the ballot.

Martell had 12,098 votes as of 10:35 p.m. and there were 223 write-in votes.

Manitowoc County contested races results

Here are the results for contested races in Manitowoc County as of 10:35 p.m. April 7.

Manitowoc County Board of Supervisors

District 5: Incumbent Tyler Martell is not on the ballot. Jill Ann Pope is running against William DeBaets. Pope is leading the race with 338 votes while DeBaets has 215 votes.

District 16: Incumbent Leo Naidl filed for non-candidacy. Brad Busse is running against Dillon Meisnest. Busse is leading the race with 552 votes while Meisnest has 153.

District 20: Incumbent Lee Engelbrecht is running against Andrew Schwerma. Schwerma is leading the race with 492 votes while Engelbrecht has 244.

Manitowoc Common Council

District 5: Incumbent William DeBaets is running against Mason Benzinger. Benzinger is leading the race with 343 votes while DeBaets has 210 votes.

District 6: Incumbent Eric Sitkiewitz is running against Benjamin Hilburger. Sitkiewitz is leading the race with 493 votes while Hilburger has 288 votes.

Multi-Jurisdictional Municipal Judge for city of Two Rivers and village of Mishicot

Incumbent Emily Walker is running against Mark Heller. Walker is leading the race with 738 votes while Heller has 341 votes.

Two Rivers City Council

Incumbents Bonnie Shimulunas, Darla LeClair and Adam Wachowski are running against challengers Katherine Dahlke and Shawntel Hoffman for three open seats. Wachowski is leading the race with 596 votes, while Dahlke has 447 votes, LeClair has 421, Shimulunas has 383 and Hoffman has 355.

Kiel City Council

District 4: Cory Wilkens is running against Jason Nett. Nett is leading the race with 106 votes while Wilkens has 89 votes.

Mishicot School Board

Melissa Wiesner, Gavin Sinkula and Shawn Driscoll are running for two open seats. Driscoll is leading the race with 936 votes and Wiesner is coming in second with 764 votes. Sinkula currently has 721 votes.
