Freedom 13, Shiocton 3
FREEDOM – The Irish scored six runs in the fourth inning to take a 10-3 lead in the six-inning nonconference win over the Chiefs.
Luke Schmidt had three hits and three RBIs for Freedom. Carlton Romitti and Carson Peters both had two hits and an RBI. Peters and Ryan Heran hit doubles.
Chase Calmes pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed four hits, three earned runs, walked one and struck out seven.
Braylon Krull had two hits and an RBI for Shiocton.
Freedom 11, Two Rivers 1
FREEDOM – Ethan Micke earned his first varsity win on the mound and Grant Millan got his first career RBI for the Irish in the five-inning nonconference win.
Micke pitched five innings for the complete game. He allowed four hits, one run and struck out two.
Elijah Shepard had two hits and an RBI for Freedom. Carlton Romitti drove in two runs.
Denmark 5-1, Wrightstown 2-11
WRIGHTSTOWN – The Vikings scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to take a 5-1 lead and went on to win the first game of the doubleheader.
Cade Delarwelle had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for the Vikings. Caden Peterson and Caden Kersten both had two hits and an RBI.
Delarwelle pitched six innings for the win. He allowed five hits, one run, walked four and struck out 10.
Mason Vande Hey had two hits and two RBIs for Wrightstown. Ryan Leahy added two hits, including a double, and Theo Van Rossum also had two hits.
Wrightstown won the second game 11-1 in six innings, scoring four runs in the second inning and five in the fourth.
The Tigers finished with 14 hits and had six doubles. Van Rossum, Bennett Stengel, Vande Hey, Michael Besel and Jackson Leitzke each had two hits. Rogan Thompson, Vande Hey and Jacob Miller each drove in two runs.
Miller pitched a complete game for the win. He allowed three hits, one earned run and struck out one.
Braedon Heezen had two hits, including a double, and an RBI for Denmark.
Luxemburg-Casco 14-15, Clintonville 5-5
SUAMICO – The Spartans scored 29 runs in the two games to sweep the North Eastern Conference doubleheader over the Truckers.
Tatem Klaubauf was 3-for-3 in the first game for Luxemburg-Casco. Gavin Lax and Eli Derenne each drove in three runs for the Spartans.
Lax earned the win on the mound. He allowed one hit and zero runs in two innings, striking out two.
Levi Wolf drove in two runs for Clintonville.
Klaubauf drove in four runs and had three hits in the second game.
Noah Chervenka earned the win for Luxemburg-Casco. He pitched two scoreless innings and allowed one hit while striking out three.
Zach Johnson hit a three-run home run for Clintonville.
De Pere 8, Neenah 4
DE PERE – Jake Mleziva pitched three scoreless innings to get the win in the victory over the Rockets.
Mleziva allowed one hit, struck out three and did not walk anyone.
Rory Obma had two runs batted in for De Pere, which scored three runs in the second inning and five in the sixth.
Ethan Hellengreen had two hits and an RBI for Neenah. Owen Pire hit a double for the Rockets.
De Pere 12, Appleton East 0
DE PERE – Will Nikolay pitched four innings to get the victory for the Redbirds over the Patriots.
Nikolay allowed one hit and zero runs, striking out four and walking two.
Isaac Herlache drove in three runs for De Pere. Fisher Anderson and Max Zimmerman each had two hits for the Redbirds.
SOFTBALL
Kimberly 14, Sun Prairie East 1
SUN PRAIRIE – The Papermakers scored six runs in the first inning and five in the second inning in the five-inning win over the Cardinals.
Sophie Hermus had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs for Kimberly. Payton Schreiber added two hits, while Chloe Biese had two hits and two RBIs. Breckan Luedke hit a home run and had two RBIs.
Bella Ellestad pitched five innings for the win. She allowed four hits, did not walk a batter and struck out four.
Oak Creek 8, Kimberly 0
SUN PRAIRIE – The Papermakers were limited to five hits in the loss to the Knights.
Chloe Biese had two hits, both doubles, for Kimberly. Bella Ellestad also hit a double.
Rita Sippy pitched a complete game for Oak Creek. She did not walk a batter and struck out nine.
GIRLS SOCCER
Kimberly 3, Eau Claire Memorial 0
EAU CLAIRE – Lindsey Owens, Emily Urban and Vada Sousek scored goals for the Papermakers in the victory over the Old Abes.
Ashlyn Krueger had two assists for Kimberly.
Papermakers goalie Bee Brockert made one save.
Winneconne 7, Ashland 0
ASHLAND – Suri Hottmann had three goals and an assist for the Wolves in the win over the Oredockers.
Harper Neace added two goals, while Abbie Oleson and Ainsley Tate also had goals. Oleson added two assists.
Winneconne goalie Emery Sommers made one save.
