Conner shines as Somers stuns Greeley, April 27-May 2 girls lacrosse scoreboard

The girls lacrosse season is underway and these scoreboards will be updated each day throughout the season with all of the scores we receive. Check here for updates, highlights and stories each week.

Monday, April 27

Somers 8, Horace Greeley 6

Sofia Conner had four goals and two draw controls and Emma Donaldson made 12 saves to lead Somers. Kate Barton scored twice and recovered a groundball, Caitlyn Mayfield had a goal, two caused turnovers, six draw controls and two groundballs, and Isabella Mancini had a goal and a groundball. Meadow Dondl had two caused turnovers and two groundballs, Megan O’Reilly had a groundball, and Amelia Marcus had a draw control. Greeley’s Grace Richards and Leia Lee each scored twice, Samantha Rose had a goal and an assist, and Jillian Potashner scored once. Avery Fitzgerald had an assist, Gianna Limongello had two draw controls, Olivia McCann had a caused turnover, two groundballs and two draw controls and Darby Robertson made nine saves.

Mahopac 14, Brewster 10

Senior Ashley Koch had two draw controls, five goals and an assist, recording her 200th career point and reaching No. 2 on Mahopac’s scoring list. Gianna Cirelli had six goals, two draw controls and a groundball, Bella Gangemi had three goals, four assists, six draw controls and a groundball, and Gianna DeVito had two assists. Giana Puckhaber had five draw controls, two caused turnovers and a groundball, Jisella Izzi recovered two groundballs, Jordyn Warner had a groundball and a draw control, and Amanda Carey made six saves. Brewster’s Kaitlyn Flanagan and Olivia Saccomanno each scored three goals, Amelia Walsh had two goals, three assists and a caused turnover and Isabella Maenza scored twice. Daniella Apap had four draw controls and a groundball, Lily Katsetos had six caused turnovers and Lindsay Smith made nine saves, including the 500th of her career.

Lakeland/Panas 13, Pawling 12

Brooke Pizzarello scored seven goals to lead Lakeland/Panas. Gabby Goldstein and Emma Stewart each added two goals, Katelyn Kuney and Sophia Hoffman each had a goal, Mya Wilkowski had an assist and Veronica Lynch made nine saves. Pawling’s Mackenzie Wahl had eight goals and two assists, Emily Nevermann had four goals and an assist, and Maddy Pfister made six saves.

North Salem 15, Blind Brook 9

Noemi Torres had four goals, an assist and four draw controls and Ashley Cindrich had three goals, two assists and three groundballs to lead North Salem. Abby Cassidy added four goals, Sydney Merriman had two goals and an assist, Emma Greenberg scored twice, and Sienna Paldin had an assist, five draw controls and three caused turnovers. Jaella Henry had an assist, Grace Shaeffer had three groundballs and a caused turnover, and Emma Hickey (nine saves) and Kylie Dell (seven) combined at goalkeeper. Blind Brook’s Eliza Barnett and Tatum Korpi each scored three goals, Alexa Muoio had a goal and four assists, Kyra Fischer scored twice, and Ava Muoio made 20 saves.

Nanuet 15, Byram Hills 13

Kaeleigh Larkin scored five goals to lead Nanuet. Alexis Plunkett added three goals, Courtney Hudak and Leannah Owens each scored once. Byram Hills’ Sydney Hecht had five goals and two assists, Ava Gitler had three goals and three assists, Lila Vincaquerra scored three goals, Sadie Siegel had a goal and an assist, Liv Bergstein scored once and Kendall Sorenson made seven saves.

Hackley 16, Riverdale 4

Charlotte Frazier had three goals and an assist to lead Hackley. Selila Fleck added three goals, Nora Esposito had two goals and two assists, Gracie Eleck and Bridget Frazier each scored twice, and Gabriella Petriello had two assists. Fiona Pedraza and Ali Baldwin each had a goal and an assist, Julia Feehan and Angelina Hummel each scored once, Emelia Pieri and Cora McMahon each had an assist, and Zena Hume made four saves. Riverdale’s Julia Tyree scored four goals.

Ardsley 12, Edgemont 7

Mairead Gowran scored six goals to lead Ardsley. Lily Tiernan, Anna Gallante and Hazel McGourty each added a goal and two assists, Lyla Vega had a goal and an assist, Krista Kelly and Juliette An each scored once, Lyvia Pulver had two assists, and Sienna Kay made 10 saves.

St. Dominic 10, Mamaroneck 9

St. Dominic scored the winner with a second left. Fiona Duffy had three goals and an assist and Lucy Bevilacqua scored three goals in the loss for Mamaroneck. Charlotte Dauer, Ellis Stanley and Daniela Winters each had a goal and an assist, Lexi Suman had an assist and four draw controls, and Caroline Beyrich made four saves.
