A.J. O’Brady’s in downtown Menomonee Falls will be permanently closing Wednesday, Sept. 24, according to a Facebook post by the restaurant.
This Irish pub and grill, at N88 W16495 Main St, has been open for 15 years, according to the Sept. 22 post.
“As we navigate this post-Covid era, operating at this location has become financially unfeasible,” the restaurant said in the post.
“Due to factors beyond our control, we are being forced to close as soon as possible. We share in the frustration and sadness — this is just as hard for us as it is for you,” the post said.
“AJs has been an amazing pub for our community. It helped revive and connect our neighborhood — we watched many people meet their significant others here. We sponsored baseball, football, softball, soccer, dance, people in need, churches, festivals, and countless local initiatives. No matter how tough times got, we did our best to give when it was needed,” according to the post.
The post said there’s a possibility A.J. O’Brady’s may be relocated, but for now, most of the team will transition to Belfast Station, A.J.’s sister restaurant.
Gift cards or coupons can be accepted at Belfast Station, N64 W23246 Main St., Sussex.
A.J. O’Brady’s hours as listed on its Facebook page are 3 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Wednesday.
