BMX seminar
Central Wisconsin BMX will host a New Riders Seminar at 10:30 a.m. June 6 at 2220 E. Riverview Expressway in Wisconsin Rapids. New riders of all ages can attend the free event after signing a one-day waiver. The group will have limited bikes and helmets available, so those who have their own bikes and helmets should plan to bring theirs. Bikers should wear long sleeves, pants and closed-toed shoes. Riders and parents will learn more about the sport and how races are run, and organizers will answer any other questions guests have. Ren Faire
McMillan Memorial Library will host its Ren Faire from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 6 at 490 E. Grand Ave. in Wisconsin Rapids. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite medieval or fantasy-inspired costumes to the event that will also feature longsword and whittling demonstrations, hobby horse target jousting, old-time games in the garden, crafts, chalk art and a themed selfie photo booth. A roving minstrel performance will also be at the event. Guests who get stamps from five or more event stations will be entered in a drawing for a hobby horse prize. Stretch N Sip
Anchor Bay and Yoga with Renee Cathryn will host a Stretch N Sip at 10 a.m. June 7 at Anchor Bay Bar & Grill, 1259 Anchor Landing Drive in Biron. For a $20 ticket, guests can take a slow flow yoga class near the Wisconsin River and enjoy a beverage. Mats will be available for the class.
