After a chilly, windy weekend, temperatures will begin ticking back up in Corpus Christi — but not before one more cool night.
Meteorologists at the local office of the National Weather Service are expecting for Feb. 23 a sunny day hitting a high of about 66 degrees, before evening temperatures dip into a low of about 49 degrees, according to an online forecast.
The rest of the week, according to their projections, will continue a slow rise in warmth:
“We’ll see temps trend upward to near-record territory by Thursday,” meteorologists wrote in a social media post Feb. 23, adding that “fire conditions will remain elevated through Thursday.”
The forecast shows no rain on the horizon.
