Who were the SEC passing yard leaders after Week 1 of the 2025 season?

If the first week of play is any indication of how the rest of the season will unfold, then the SEC is going to be extremely fun to watch in 2025. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the SEC has a singular, dominant quarterback, but a few do stand out among the bunch when considering the competition they faced.

They’ve done it in different ways as well, some used their legs, like Auburn QB Jackson Arnold, who ran for more yards than he threw in a 38–24 win over Baylor. Or Georgia’s Gunner Stockton, who was well-balanced with two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns.

Week 1 didn’t answer a lot of questions. It really just added more intrigue to what I expect to be a very tumultuous conference from week to week. However, with the limited sample size for now, most of the QBs looked comfortable in their offenses, and they took care of business against the teams they should have beaten.
