VC President Dusty Johnston said Vernon College is both an economic engine and an educational institution for the region.

“This is not the end. I promise you this is just the beginning,” he told the graduates. “You are completing a milestone, a marker in time, and what you do next, honestly, is 100% up to you.”

Vernon College provides associate degrees and certificates in programs ranging from nursing to computer science. It also offers specific workforce training, according to VC’s website.
