Texans fans finally learn when the 2026 schedule will be released

After weeks of speculation, Houston Texans fans now know when they will figure out how many primetime games in 2026 behind a No. 1 defense and Pro Bowl quarterback C.J. Stroud.

The NFL confirmed last week that the full 2026 schedule will be released next Thursday, May 14, at 7 p.m. ET. On ESPN and NFL Network, there will be a schedule release show in prime time, revealing who plays where on ESPN, NBC and Amazon Prime as the standalone games.

The Texans already know who is on the schedule. Right now, it’s all about when each game will be played. Earlier this week, it was reported that Houston will go international and play a divisional round game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in October as part of their two-game AFC home and road trip in London, though it has not been confirmed in the public.

Other than that, Houston doesn’t know the dates or times of any other games.
