Winning streaks and road wins of any kind have been scarce recently for UTEP football, but now they get a chance at both when they travel to Kennesaw State for a nationally televised Tuesday night game.
The Owls weren’t a preseason favorite in Conference USA, but they come in with a 3-0 record in league play and 5-2 overall, looking to stay in the lead in the standings as a sizeable home favorite.
The Miners have settled on Skyler Locklear at quarterback and he will try to engineer a two-game winning streak.
