The release of EA Sports College Football 27 is nearly here, and one of the best players in the game plays for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
EA Sports is releasing the top 10 players at each offensive position ahead of the game’s release, and Terrance Carter Jr. received a 92 overall rating, tying him with LSU’s Trey’Dez Green as the No. 1 tight end in the game. The top five is rounded out by Oregon’s Jamari Johnson (90), Cal’s Dorian Thomas (89), and Penn State’s Benjamin Brahmer (88).
Carter is entering his second season with the Red Raiders after transferring in from the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. He was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team after catching 55 passes for 624 yards and five touchdowns, solidifying himself as a difference-maker in Texas Tech’s offense.
EA Sports is expecting another strong season for the Killeen, Texas native, and he has strong grades in several categories. He has an 85 speed, 96 awareness, 88 acceleration, and 90 stamina in the general category. In the receiving category, he has a 91 in catching, 90 in spectacular catch, and an 86 in short route running.
Early release for the game starts on July 2 for MVP+ members, with the deluxe edition of the game becoming available on July 6. The game will officially be released worldwide on July 9.
