With a fresh new football season just around the corner, the recruiting cycle for Big Country high school football players and college programs is picking up steam.
Abilene Christian is set to join several other top-tier Division I college football programs by hosting its own elite high school prospect football camp in Abilene.
ACU head coach Keith Patterson and the Wildcats’ coaching staff will lead the high school prospect camp on Thursday and Friday, July 24-25, at Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium and the Teague Special Events Center in Abilene.
Abilene Christian’s summer high school football prospect camp, organized by Patterson, is open to freshmen, sophomores, junior and seniors throughout the Lone Star State and beyond who are seeking to improve and hone their skillsets before the 2025 Texas high school football season officially kicks off.
ACU’s summer football prospect camp will be focussed on running non-contact drills and developing position-by-position techniques.
Dozens of standout Texas high school football players have announced their plans to participate, including several Big Country area athletes like Abilene High junior quarterback Tristan Beal.
Area high school football players interested in attending can register for ACU’s summer prospect camp here.
