A former Texas A&M wide receiver just scored his first career NFL touchdown in the Cleveland Browns’ preseason contest against the Chicago Bears on Saturday afternoon.
While most of the attention has been on the quarterback battle between Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders, KC Concepcion continues to garner major hype with his preseason performance for the Browns. Concepcion rushed for his first professional football touchdown and almost added another on a 31-yard punt return.
Cleveland selected the Aggie wideout with the No. 24 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, after racking up 919 receiving yards and six touchdowns. The 2025 Paul Hornung Award winner also recorded two punt return touchdowns during Texas A&M’s historic 11-2 season.
In a column during the Browns’ preseason loss to the Bears, Dan Labbe of Cleveland.com touted Concepcion as the problem solver the franchise has been seeking. The quarterback controversy has been at the forefront of headlines surrounding Cleveland as it enters the 2026 season. Still, Concepcion’s versatility and electric speed in the open field provide the offense and special teams unit with a dangerous playmaker, which is something Browns fans have been clamoring for.
