Texas A&M star WR mocked to NFC East team in 2027 NFL Draft

Texas A&M’s 2026 wide receiver rotation is widely considered a top 10-ranked unit nationally and is tied with the Texas Longhorns for the best group in the SEC, primarily due to the return of star junior Mario Craver and the offseason addition of former Alabama wide receiver Holmon Wiggins. On paper, this looks like the most complete WR rotation in Texas A&M history.

Yes, that’s quite the assumption, but given last season’s success on offense, averaging nearly 34 points per game, while KC Concepcion, who was drafted 24th overall by the Cleveland Browns, and Mario Craer combined for an impressive 1,836 yards and 13 touchdowns, which ranked top 5 in the SEC.

During his redshirt sophomore season, starting quarterback Marcel Reed passed for a career-high 3,169 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions, connecting with Mario Craver for 59 receptions, 917 yards and four touchdowns, as the Mississippi State transfer averaged 15.5 yards per reception during his first season in College Station.

Taking over as the wide receiver room’s leader, the only thing keeping Mario Craver from becoming a top 10 2027 NFL Draft selection is his size at 5’9″, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be a first-round selection, already being mocked as the 22nd overall pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in Pro Football Focus’s recent mock draft.

This would be a fascinating selection for several reasons, especially after the Eagles picked former USC WR Makai Lemon with the 20th overall pick in the 2026 draft, leading to the trade of star AJ Brown to the New England Patriots. Craver’s speed and versatility make him a fit with most teams, but if Philadelphia’s offense takes a step back this season, I wouldn’t be shocked if Craver ends up with the Eagles.
