Texas A&M receives prediction to land rising 2027 3-star wide receiver

Texas A&M’s future wide receiver rotation is nearly set in stone after landing four blue-chip wideouts in the 2026 signing class, and with four-star Jayden Upshaw serving as the Aggies’ lone wide receiver commit in the No. 1-ranked 2027 cycle, but not for long, as five-star Eric McFarland is still predicted to commit to Texas A&M on Sunday, while rising three-star WR Demani Warren is now the the primary name to watch.

It’s going to be a busy next three weeks for coach Mike Elko and his staff, knowing that five-star offensive lineman Albert Simien will announce his commitment on Friday, followed by Demani Warren on Friday, McFarland on Sunday, and five-star cornerback Joshua Dobson on Tuesday, July 1.

This week, I predicted that the Aggies would land Eric McFarland, while Damani Warren, who took his official visit to Michigan last weekend, entered the week as a slight favorite to land with A&M, while Michigan remained a close second. However, Rivals recruiting experts Steve Wiltfong and Greg Biggins are now in the Aggies’ corner, officially logging their prediction for Warren to commit to Texas A&M.

“Las Vegas (Nev.) Arbor View receiver Damani Warren is a target Texas A&M has been pushing for a lot of the cycle and hosted him in March and again during the summer for an official visit. Offensive coordinator Holmon Wiggins track record at the position is what impresses Warren most and after talking to sources, Greg Biggins and I have logged predictions in favor of the Aggies.”

Standing 6’4″ and over 200 pounds, Warren fits the X receiver mold, and if the Aggies land Eric McFarland, who is slated to play in the slot at the next level, paired with Jayden Upshaw at the Z, Texas A&M’s 2027 and 2028 wide receiver rotation will be all but complete, based on Mike Elko’s retention rate and development plan.
