Texas A&M appears to have finally filled out its 2025–26 roster after securing a commitment from Southern Illinois transfer guard Ali Dibba.
Dibba is a 6-foot-5 high-energy slasher who averaged double digits last season with the Salukis. He’s reportedly joining Coach Bucky McMillan after receiving an NCAA waiver granting him an additional year of eligibility. Last season at Southern Illinois, Dibba posted 17.3 PPG, 4.8 REB, and 2 APG. Prior to that, he averaged 15.5 PPG, 4.6 REB, and 1.2 APG at Abilene Christian.
The Stockholm, Sweden native began his college career at Chicago State University before transferring to ACU for two seasons, eventually landing at Southern Illinois.
Dibba’s calling card is his ability to attack the basket. His solid frame allows him to finish through contact, adding a layer of physicality to his game. While his jump shot remains a work in progress, that won’t be his primary role in the “Bucky Ball” system.
Adding Dibba gives the Aggies a key depth piece, boosting their competitiveness and injecting extra toughness into a team built to thrive on pressure and pace.
