Just as Dave Campbell’s Texas Football previewed and made predictions for San Angelo Central and the Little Southwest Conference, DCTF did the same for smaller classifications and districts in West Texas.
As the first game under Friday night lights approaches on Aug. 29, the Standard-Times will preview every West Texas and San Angelo-area district alongside DCTF in anticipation of the 2025 season.
The next largest classification among local programs is 4A Division I. While District 3-4A DI is the second largest in terms of school attendance numbers, its four teams make up the smallest of any district in the area.
