President Donald Trump is sharing details about what he plans to address in a speech this week.
Trump announced on Truth Social that he will be address the nation at 7 p.m. MT/ 8 p.m. CT on Thursday, July 16. The social media post did not release any further details about his address, though several news outlets, including the New York Times, reported that Trump is expected to continue to raise the specter of voter fraud.
Trump’s address is expected to refer to sensitive documents that have recently been declassified by an administration task force. The president has also said his speech would be about election security and voting machines, among other topics, and that he would share “really, really big news,” New York Times reported.
When reporters asked Trump if his speech would be about election integrity on July 14, he replied, “It will concern that subject.”
