Girl Scouts all over the country are getting ready to sell the new cookie, Exploremores, as part of their 2026 cookie lineup.
In El Paso, Girl Scout troops started their online sales for orders with shipping on Monday, Jan. 5. They will start selling door-to-door and in front of some Walmart stores and other businesses on Sunday, Jan. 18.
The new cookie, Exploremores, is a rocky road–inspired cookie with flavors of chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond crème.
Noorain Khan, president of Girl Scouts of the USA, cheered on Girl Scouts as they started their cookie campaigns on her Facebook page.
“I’m so thrilled to be kicking off cookie season, and we’re especially excited about the launch of the new Exploremores cookie,” she said. “… it really is such an exciting time. I have incredible memories for my own cookie seasons growing up, making the sale, setting a goal, really interacting with people. And now I get to do it all over again as a troop leader and mom of a Daisy. So happy cookie season everyone!”

What does new Girl Scout cookie Exploremores taste like?
If you like chocolate, you’ll love the Exploremores. Some describe it as tasting like a soft Oreo, and that’s a great way to describe it. It’s plenty of chocolatey goodness that crumbles in your mouth.
How to get Girl Scout Exploremores
In the Southwest, cookie lovers can go to the Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest page to find a cookie booth near them. There will be booths in El Paso, Midland, Odessa, Roswell, Fort Stockton, Pecos, Fort Bliss and Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.
In El Paso, the Girl Scouts will have cookie booths on weekends at various stores including these Walmart locations:, 4530 Transmountain Road, 10840 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and 1551 N. Zaragoza Road. They will also have booths at Martita’s Lunch Box, 3623 Buckner St., on weekends. More places will be added as the season continues.
When is Girl Scout cookie season 2026?
The Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest in-person cookie season is from Sunday, Jan. 18, through Sunday, March 1.
What is the Girl Scout cookie lineup for 2026
The Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest will sell the following cookies:
Thin Mints, Lemonades, Caramel Delites, Trefoils, Adventurefuls, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Caramel Chocolate Chip (which are gluten-free), and the new cookie Exploremores.
How much are Girl Scout cookies?
Each package of cookies costs $6, the same as last year.
