FSU softball vs Virginia Tech: Live updates of ACC Champinoship Game

The No. 7 Florida State Seminoles softball team is set to play the Virginia Tech Hokies in the ACC Softball Tournament Championship Game on Saturday in Palmer Park in Charlottesville, Virginia. FSU is looking to win its 20th tournament title while Virginia Tech is going for No. 3.

FSU punched its ticket to the game with a 9-0 beatdown of the Stanford Cardinal on Friday. They led from the first inning and never looked back, picking up a run-rule victory. Bella Demitrijević had the best start of her young career, pitching four shutout innings, allowing just one hit and a walk to earn the win.

After scoring just two runs against Georgia Tech on Thursday, the offense looked like normal against Stanford. They scored three runs in the first to take control and scored in three of the four innings they got to hit. They finished the game with nine hits and went 4-10 with runners in scoring position to take advantage of their run-scoring opportunities.

FSU Softball vs. Virginia Tech Prediction

FSU 5, Virginia Tech 2: The Seminoles’ offense was excellent against Stanford, but they will have another tough test on Saturday to win their 20th ACC Tournament Championship. It will be a hard-fought game between two dangerous teams, but FSU will get enough offense, and the pitching will keep the Hokies in check to earn the win.
