Texas Tech softball sputters in Big 12 tourney championship game

The Texas Tech softball team took one on the chin and cost itself an outside shot of hosting a super regional, falling 4-0 to Arizona State in the championship game of the Big 12 Conference tournament.

Kenzie Brown dominated Texas Tech (52-6) in the circle and led the Sun Devils to its third upset in as many days for sixth-seeded Arizona State. She held the Red Raiders to just two hits in the game and struck out nine.
