High school boys soccer history was made this season in Corpus Christi.
London broke through to win a regional title for the first time, in the process becoming the first Coastal Bend boys soccer program to advance to the state semifinals.
The Pirates’ season, paired with another deep playoff run for Flour Bluff, led the way in boys soccer in the area.
Here is a look at the All-South Texas soccer team.
ALL-SOUTH TEXAS BOYS SOCCER 2026
MVP
Kyle Barganski, sr., Flour Bluff
Barganski led the Flour Bluff attack as one of the most feared playmakers in the area. The senior standout netted 40 goals with 23 assists capping a four-year career that saw him earn district MVP honors three times and help the Hornets go 22-3 and advance to the regional final in Class 5A Division I.
Newcomer of the Year
Erick Rocha, fr., London
On a young squad, Rocha made his mark by scoring 18 goals and adding seven assists to earn co-Newcomer of the Year honors in District 29-4A, helping the Pirates become the first boys soccer team to advance to the state semifinals in Corpus Christi history.
