Jeremiah Paz of the Horizon baseball team is this week’s El Paso Children’s Hospital High School Athlete of the Week for April 28-May 3.
He pitched a complete game shutout and struck out eight in a win vs. Canutillo to help the Scorpions win a bidistrict title in Class 5A, Division 2.

Students in all varsity sports are eligible to be nominated. The poll will close at 3 p.m. each Thursday, and the winners will be announced Friday.
