I-10 at Artcraft Road project hits major milestones in El Paso

The construction on I-10 at Artcraft Road is moving along at a rapid clip.

The Texas Department of Transportation is one year into the project and is currently executing work on several fronts, including utilities and storm drainage.

Additionally, crews are constructing eastbound frontage roads, entrance and exit ramps at Artcraft Road, and direct connectors, drilled shafts, columns, caps, girders, and retaining walls.

Girders for turnarounds are slated for installation during the week beginning Monday, June 22, with deck panels to be installed during the week beginning Monday, June 29.

The project is on track to be completed by 2030.
