Texas Tech is back in the NCAA women’s tournament for the first time since 2013. The Lady Raiders will take on Villanova in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to open the 2026 iteration of March Madness.
Tech is a 7-seed in host 2-seed LSU’s quadrant. The Tigers will face 15-seed Jacksonville in the first round.

The First Four contests will be March 18-19 and the first round will be March 20-21. The second round will be March 22-23.
The first two rounds of the tournament will take place at LSU’s Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Should Tech advance past the first weekend, it’d head to Sacramento for the Sweet 16 and possible Elite Eight games.
Here’s how to secure tickets to cheer on the Lady Raiders in their return to the big dance.
