Stores closed
Target stores will be open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.
Walmart stores will be open 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.
Home Depot stores will be open 6 a.m.-5 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.
Lowe’s stores will be open 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.
Grocery store hours
H-E-B will be open 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day.
Market Street will be open 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day.
Walmart stores will be open from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day.
Sam’s Club will be open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day.
Food King will be open 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day.
Restaurants open Christmas Day
Denny’s, 27 W. Ave. I, will be open 24 hours. Information: 325-653-9935.
Golden Corral, 87 W. Houston Harte Expressway, will be open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Information: 325-949-6064.
IHOP, 4302 College Hills Blvd., will be open 24 hours. Information: 325-223-2865.
McDonald’s — with locations at 520 N. Bryant Blvd., 610 W. 29th St. and 4330 Southwest Blvd. — will be open 24 hours.
Oriental Flame, 4217 College Hills Blvd, will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Information: 325-617-4376.
Roxie’s Diner, 4609 S. Jackson St., will be open 7-10 a.m. Information: 325-655-4403.
City operations and trash schedule
City offices will be closed Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Trash services will be delayed by one day for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The landfill will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Among the city operations closed these days: the San Angelo Animal Shelter, Fairmount Cemetery’s business offices, the San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department, the McNease Convention Center, Municipal Court, the Parks and Recreation offices, Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers, Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, the water billing offices and the WIC offices.
WIC offices will also be closed Tuesday.
City offices will reopen Dec. 29 and Jan. 2.
Fort Concho and its visitor center, 630 S. Oakes St., will be closed Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1. Aside from those closures, the fort will be open during regular business hours of 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
Other businesses open and closed Thanksgiving Day
Cinemark will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with multiple showings all day.
Icon Cinema will also be open with several showings.
Dollar General stores are typically open on Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day. While most locations will be open on Wednesday, hours can vary.
Dollar Tree stores are typically open on Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day. While most locations will be open on Wednesday, hours can vary.
Uber and Lyft also run all day Christmas.
Food delivery services are also running, including Uber Eats, DoorDash and Favor.
