George Strait had plenty of songs to perform for two nights in Lubbock, Texas. He wasn’t there for a long time, but he made sure all the fans in attendance had a good time.
And, at the end of Friday, anyone who was lucky enough to be inside the home of the Texas Tech Red Raiders football team, left with a smile on their face.
Zach Top and Dylan Gossett were privileged to take the stage and warm up a capacity crowd Friday, April 24, while Miranda Lambert and Hudson Westbrook were slated to kick things off Saturday, April 25.
For those in attendance, or unable to make the show, here are the songs played by the King of Country. It marked the first time Strait came to Lubbock for his “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour” on Jan. 18, 2013 — playing to a sold-out crowd at the then, United Spirit Arena.
