El Paso Mardi Gras 2026: Downtown block party, other celebrations set for Feb. 17

Get ready for beads, music, and nonstop energy, as the 2026 Mardi Gras Downtown Block Party is set for Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Hosted by Madhouse, the Mardi Gras party will kick off at noon at Church Bar, 212 E. Mills Ave.

The party will include food trucks, live music, all-day performances, beads, masks, and that full New Orleans party vibe taking over.

The first 200 General Admission tickets are free. No cover charge until 6 p.m. After that, tickets start at $10 and are available at madhouseelp.com. VIP tickets begin at $15 and include access to the stage risers and in-and-out entry all night.

Celebrate at Sabor for their Mardi Gras Carnival Happy Hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, with gumbo, mini muffulettas, beignets, festive cocktails, and live New Orleans–style brass by The Borderless Brass Band. 21 plus. Location: 10 Henry Trost Court.

La Bang Bang

Keep the celebration going at La Bang Bang as the music and Mardi Gras energy carry on into the night. Location: 414 San Antonio Ave.

Border City Ale House

Enjoy a Mardi Gras party starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Border City Ale House, 1506 Lee Trevino Drive.

Enjoy $4 Blue Hawaiians, Southern Comfort or $5 SoCo Chubbies. Sweet Nadine will perform from 5 to 8 p.m., DJ Avid will play from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Jason’s Deli

For a dinner celebration at home, try Jason’s Deli’s Muffaletta, which has nearly 50 years of history behind it, including its longstanding partnership with Leidenheimer Baking Company in New Orleans. As part of the partnership, Jason’s Deli is offering a limited-time Mardi Gras Package that makes at-home celebrations easy.

The bundle feeds up to 10 and includes Muffaletta slices, seafood gumbo with rice, potato salad and cookies, available for pickup or delivery through Tuesday, Feb. 17.
