Democratic candidates to host tour through West Texas

Democratic candidates for statewide office as well Kyle Rable, a candidate for Texas’ 19th Congressional District, will meet with West Texans during a three-day tour July 18 to July 20.

The tour will make four stops and feature candidates from the Texas 19th Congressional District as well as State Rep. Gina Hinojosa for Governor and Clayton Tucker for AG Commissioner ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.

The tour itinerary is listed below.

July 18

The tour’s first stop is in Lubbock, specifically The Garden at 1801 Buddy Holly Ave.

The tour has organized a speaking event from 2 to 4 p.m., with the doors opening at 1:30 p.m.

Candidates attending the event are Rep. Gina Hinojosa for Governor, Kyle Rable for Congress, Rep. Vikki Goodwin for Lt. Governor, Clayton Tucker for AG Commissioner, Sen. Sarah Eckhardt for Comptroller, Rep. Jon Rosenthal for Railroad Commissioner, Holly Taylor for Judge and Riley Rodriquez for State Senate and Malik Williams for House District-83.

July 19

The tour’s second day of stops will be a town hall in Plainview and a speaking event in Big Spring.

The Town Hall with the candidates will be hosted from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hale County Senior Center at 1107 Smyth St.

The speaking event will be hosted from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Cactus Room on the Howard College Campus at 1001 Birdwell Lane.

Candidates attending both events are Kyle Rable for Congress, Rep. Vikki Goodwin for Lt. Governor, Clayton Tucker for AG Commissioner, Sen. Sarah Eckhardt for Comptroller, Rep. Jon Rosenthal for Railroad Commissioner, Holly Taylor for Judge, Riley Rodriquez for State Senate and Shilo Salazar for House District 72.

July 20

The tour’s third stop will be a town hall in Abilene.

The Town Hall with the candidates will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Abilene Public Library South Branch at 4310 Buffalo Gap Rd #1246 in the Mall of Abilene.

Candidates attending the event are Kyle Rable for Congress, Rep. Vikki Goodwin for Lt. Governor, Clayton Tucker for AG Commissioner, Sen. Sarah Eckhardt for Comptroller, Rep. Jon Rosenthal for Railroad Commissioner, Holly Taylor for Judge, Riley Rodriquez for State Senate and Diana Luna for House District-71.
