Von Miller has been linked to Dallas before, and he’s destined for Canton. But the Cowboys shouldn’t make a move to sign the free agent now. Sam Williams is just now returning to individual drills without a knee brace as he continues to rehab the ACL tear he suffered last summer. But he’s definitely been hitting the gym and packing muscle on his upper body. “Biceps look huge,” Coach Schottenheimer said last week. “He’s doing great … Again, no timetable, but you guys see him moving and the size and the speed and the athleticism.” The added bulk should help Williams immensely in run defense.

Tyler Guyton admits he didn’t play up to expectations last year. “I want to be the guy that can be depended on,” Guyton said. “I’m coming with a different attitude this year to become a better player.” The left tackle job is still his to lose, but the leash may be shorter in his second year… with capable backups ready to step in.

The U.S. stadiums hosting FIFA World Cup games in 2026 won’t be allowed to use their corporate-sponsor names for those matches. But FIFA’s plan to refer to the Cowboys’ home venue as “Dallas Stadium” is rankling those who live in Arlington, the actual location of the facility. “We are happy to share the name, but we believe that it should be called Arlington Dallas Stadium,” said Mayor Jim Ross.
