7 Brew, the drive-thru coffee beverage concept, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, June 24, at its new Canyon location at 210 23rd St., to celebrate its newest Texas stand.
Striving to serve as a strong community advocate, 7 Brew Canyon at the ceremony also donated $9,362 to the Children’s Miracle Network of Amarillo.
“At 7 Brew, we cultivate kindness with every cup, and we’re so excited to do just that in Canyon,” said Zac Cockman, director of franchisees for 7 Crew Enterprises, LLC. “We’re also thrilled to honor that mission through our partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network of Amarillo.”
To kick off the opening celebrations, 7 Brew Canyon hosted a donation weekend, Caffeine for a Cause, which ran June 19-21 where customers could try a limited 7 Brew menu and “pay what they want” as a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network of Amarillo.
Representatives from the organization attended the ribbon-cutting to receive the donation from 7 Brew and share a few remarks about their work. “Thanks to partners like 7 Brew, local kids receive the specialized care they need and support when they need it most,” said Brooke Rodriques, Children’s Miracle Network director.
“Best of all, 100% of the funds raised stay local, helping Children’s Miracle Network of Amarillo provide critical resources, family assistance, Child Life services, and medical equipment for children across the Texas Panhandle and surrounding region,” she said.
Serving children from birth through age 18, Children’s Miracle Network of Amarillo helps provide vital support services for sick and injured children from the top 26 counties of Texas, four counties in New Mexico, three counties in Oklahoma and one county in Kansas.
The Canyon site’s next step will be to officially open for business on Monday, June 29. Following this, the team will host a Swag Day on Saturday, July 11, where customers who purchase a large drink will receive a free 7 Brew t-shirt.
More than your standard coffee stand, 7 Brew offers more than 20,000 unique drink combinations, from the original Blondie, a caramel and vanilla breve, to infused 7 Energy drinks, smoothies, 7 Fizz Sodas and teas.
The brand boasts more than 770 stands across the country, including sites in Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle.
The 7 Brew stand will add 50 jobs to the Canyon area. Those interested in joining the 7 Crew should apply at 7crew.7brewcareers.com.
