APD identified two people as suspects and obtained murder warrants for Jaylyn Johnson and Meghan Kern, and they were arrested.

The investigation continued, and APD said Sunday, June 21 that detectives from the homicide unit identified a third suspect in the incident as Jontrell Graves, 18.

Graves, who was arrested on unrelated charges, was brought to the Amarillo Police Department.

APD said from information obtained by detectives, a firearm was located that investigators believe was linked to the killing.
