Will Shortt, a 6-foot-8 forward from Sydney, Australia, announced via Instagram he’s committed to the Northern Kentucky Norse.
Shortt played the past two seasons at Niagara.
Shortt averaged 3.6 points and 3.0 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per game in 31 games as a freshman.
In 2025-26, he averaged 6.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 19.4 minutes per game over 30 games, making 25 starts.
Shortt was a Purple Eagles teammate the past two seasons of former Moeller High School guard AJ McBride.
Shortt played club basketball for Basketball Auckland before playing at Florida’s IMG Academy.
