The 30-year-old rapper surprised Islanders in Fiji during season 7, episode 15. If you missed it, here’s why the queen of “Hot Girl Summer” was on the reality show.
Who is Megan Thee Stallion?
Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, is a three-time Grammy Award-winning rapper from Houston, Texas. Also known for her alter ego, Tina Snow, Megan broke through the mainstream in 2019 with top hits that include “Big Ole Freak” and “Cash S—.”
The rapper is known for being the queen of summer and uplifting her fanbase, referring to them as Hotties.
Why was Megan Thee Stallion on ‘Love Island USA’?
Megan Thee Stallion arrived at the villa as the female contestants were preparing for a challenge. The rapper interacted with the Islanders, all while promoting her new “How Girl Summer” swimwear line, which is available in select Walmart stores.
During her time on the show, Megan showed love to the Islanders, complimenting Cierra Ortega and Nic Vansteenberghe’s connection, calling him a “nice guy.” She also encouraged Huda Mustafa to smile more.
In a confessional, Megan dubbed the humorous moment when Huda revealed she was a mother to Nic as her favorite moment from the show (so far).

Megan and “Love Island USA” host Ariana Madix later recreated the meme-able moment.
Megan also took the time to remind viewers that the Islanders “are real people with real feelings” and emphasized that the show is meant to be fun.
Later on in the episode, she hosted a dance competition that allowed contestants to show off their “Hot Girl Summer” moves before ending things by introducing two new bombshells: TJ Palma and Andreina Santos.
Is Megan Thee Stallion a new ‘Love Island USA’ bombshell?
While you could tell the rapper is a fan of the reality dating show, she will not join the Islanders in their search for love. Instead, it seems Megan appeared on “Love Island USA” to promote her new swim line and share words of encouragement to contestants.
When do ‘Love Island USA’ episodes drop?
New episodes of “Love Island USA” air daily from Thursday to Tuesday. “Love Island Aftersun,” the aftershow of the dating program, airs every Saturday.
The only day without a new episode is Wednesday.
