Week 3 in Marion-area high school football saw some big performances.
To recognize those achievements, the Marion Star is posting its Football Player of Week 3 Poll.
Fans can vote for their favorite nominee as often as allowed. Voting will be conducted at MarionStar.com and its app. The poll will be open through early Tuesday morning, and results will be posted later.

Marion Star Football Player of Week 3 Poll
Marion Harding’s Landen Keller ran 29 times for 176 yards in a loss to Lima Senior.
Mount Gilead’s Cole Fricke threw for 78 yards including a 56-yard touchdown, plus ran for 66 yards with a 15-yard touchdown rush in a win over Grove City Christian.
Cardington’s Josh Goers threw for 50 yards and ran for 170 on 13 carries, scoring three times, plus making eight tackles, with one for a loss and an interception.
North Union’s Griffin Osborne caught the game-winning 13-yard touchdown in the closing moments, plus had 57 rushing yards, eight catches for 78 yards and an interception on defense in a win over Northmor.
Highland’s Zach Church threw for 58 yards and a touchdown and ran for 97 yards in a win over Coshocton.
