Ohio State picked up another massive commitment to the 2027 recruiting class on Monday afternoon when 5-star defensive lineman Marcu Fakatou announced his verbal pledge to the Scarlet and Gray. He chose the Buckeyes over Georgia and Texas, and it continues some momentum the staff has had as of late in the recruiting cycle.
There was little doubt where Fakatou was leaning heading into his announcement, but with Name, Image and Likeness lurking under the bridge in today’s recruiting circles, you just never know. Now, it’ll be up to the Ohio State staff to keep him in the fold all the way until he signs his national letter of intent in December.
