A commercial building partially collapsed during a fire the night of July 2 in South Akron, according to the Akron Fire Department. The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation.
Akron fire crews responded to multiple reports of a large commercial structure fire in the 500 block of West Wilbeth Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. Firefighters worked into the morning of July 3 to extinguish the fire in the vacant building, officials noted.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
