A 32-year-old Ellsworth man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday night in East Jordan.
According to a release from East Jordan Police Chief Randy Kloss, officers were called to the accident scene on Water Street at 7:06 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6 where a vehicle had gone off the road, struck a tree and become engulfed in flames.
The driver, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Caiden Miller, 32, of Ellsworth. The crash remains under investigation.
Assisting agencies include the Charlevoix County Sheriff’s Department, Jordan Valley EMS, the East Jordan Fire Department and the Michigan State Police.
