Too early for Christmas music? These Ohio radio stations are already playing holiday tracks

Are you ready to jingle bell rock?

OK, well it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but that isn’t stopping some local radio stations from getting you into the Christmas spirit early with classic holiday tunes over the airwaves. If you can’t wait to hear Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas Is You,” the anticipation may be over.

93.3 The Bus, for example, has branded itself “Columbus’ Christmas Station” and is already playing Christmas music. The Dispatch briefly tuned in Nov. 15 and heard holiday staple “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” by Brenda Lee.

According to Yahoo, over 95 iHeart Media radio stations began switching to 24/7 Christmas music this month and will continue in key markets to play only holiday music through Christmas Day.
