Storms cause OHSAA to modify Ohio high school state track meet schedule

The Ohio High School Athletic Association is making modifications to this year’s state track and field meet due to inclement weather that caused two delays on June 6.

The remaining Division II running events with the exception of the 3,200 will be postponed until June 7 at 1 p.m. Running events that have not completed preliminaries, starting with the boys 400, will be reseeded as timed finals according to NFHS regulations.

The start time for events still planned for June 6 will be determined later, but the meet will not resume before 7:45 p.m. The Division II 3,200 will be the first event, followed by the remaining seated events and Division III finals.

The remaining field events will resume at 8:30 a.m. on June 7.
