OX-B’s, the chicken wings, sandwiches and wraps restaurant that got its start in a Newark storage container, is expanding again.
The chain’s ninth location, announced on social media, will be at 7370 Sawmill Road, just east of Dublin on Columbus’ Far Northwest Side. It’s in a strip mall that includes other homegrown business such as Dulce Vida Ice Cream and Los Guachos Taqueria.
The location doesn’t have an opening date set yet. So far this year, OX-B’s opened a counter inside Mount Vernon’s Founders Food Hall in June and a stand-alone restaurant in downtown Marion in May.
Closer to Columbus, OX-B’s has restaurants at 1177 N. High St. in the Short North and 2521 W. Schrock Road in Westerville.
Its wings come with sauces that range from classic barbecue to “WAY Too Hot to Handle!” The menu also includes smothered cornbread, fried-to-order pork rinds and a triple-carbed Slopwich that includes waffle fries, mac and cheese, boneless chicken and more in a bun.
