We haven’t even made it to summer yet (we’re close), meaning the Ohio State football season is still a little way off, but just so you don’t lose track, Ohio State basketball season tickets are now on sale.
The program announced the sale of the tickets on its social media sites this past week, and the timing is good, especially after guard John Mobley Jr. recently announced his decision to return to Columbus rather than keep his name in the NBA draft.
Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler and staff have retooled the roster and hope that the addition of some guys in the portal and the influx of talent from the freshman class will be enough to build on the momentum the program has from making the NCAA Tournament last year. Goals are more lofty than that every year, but it’s hopefully a stepping stone after missing the last three tournaments prior to that.
Though most of Ohio State’s marquee nonconference opponents are away from Columbus this year, the Buckeyes will welcome the normal Big Ten slate to the Schott this year, but miss out on Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, UCLA, and USC coming to the banks of the Olentangy.
To learn more and see what’s available, and potentially pick your season ticket, you can visit the Ohio State basketball section of Ticketmaster.
