COLUMBUS — The Ohio High School Athletic Association has announced the pairings and schedule for next week’s baseball state tournament, which will be hosted by 7 17 Credit Union Park (formerly Canal Park) in Akron and Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium in Canton.
The 98th annual baseball state tournament begins Thursday, June 11 and runs through Sunday, June 14, featuring play in seven divisions.
Stark County will be represented by two teams — North Canton Hoover in Division II and Lake Center Christian in Division VI. Lake Center was the state runner-up a year ago in D6. For Hoover, this is its first state final four trip since 1999
