Oh baby (baby, baby, baby, baby): Ohio woman welcomes quintuplets at Riverside Methodist

Every birth is special, but a recent delivery at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital was 1 in 60 million.

Betsy and Dan Santiso welcomed quintuplets at the Columbus hospital on Aug. 4, according to a social media post from the hospital system.

The babies, named Juniper, Cedar, Linden, Torrey and Alder, were transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Betsy Santiso and the babies are doing well, according to a Facebook post from OhioHealth.

Quintuplets are exceedingly rare, occurring in approximately 1 in every 60 million births, according to one medical expert.
