Officials identified the body of a man who was pulled from the Little Miami River this weekend.
Robert Rigdon, 73, of Mason, was recovered from the river the morning of Sunday, June 14, according to the Hamilton Township Police Department.
A kayaker called 911 around 9 a.m. after spotting Rigdon’s body in the stream near Grandin Road, according to a police report.
Police called local canoe businesses to prevent them from sending any tours down the stream while they recovered the body.
Rigdon had been reported missing out of Mason, the report says.
No foul play is suspected, according to a police news release. The incident remains under investigation.
