ODOT to close ramps to Interstate 77 at night on Sunday, Monday

Interstate ramps in Akron will be closed at night this week for pavement striping, the Ohio Department of Transportation District 4 said in a traffic advisory.

Beginning on Sunday, Aug. 2, and continuing through Tuesday, Aug. 4, the following ramps will be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.:

Also, beginning Tuesday, Aug. 4, and continuing through Thursday, Aug. 6, the ramp from Waterloo Road to I-77 north will be closed nightly between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. The detour will be Allendale Avenue to Wilbeth Road to I-77 north.

The work is part of drainage repairs in the area.
