According to various reports from the scene, it appears to be a right foot/leg injury:
Per WKBW-TV, Gardner-Johnson managed to limp off the field but could not put weight on his right side. He went to the media tent on the sideline before being taken away on a cart.
Gardner-Johnson signed in Buffalo via a one-year deal this spring.
